OUR GOAL
The CBNE Network aims to develop and evaluate competency-based learning and assessment strategies and identify best practices for educating nurses.
CHANGE
Long called for (and much needed) reform in nursing education is upon us.
Competency-based learning transitions students from knowing to doing, enhancing practice-readiness and improving patient care.
COLLABORATE
Our nine regional workgroups meet on a regular basis, providing an avenue for professional collaboration and a vehicle for scholarly output.
National webinars are held every other month to share news of regional initiatives and feature guest speakers who discuss topics of interest to our members.
Bi-Monthly Member Forum
Our members meet every other month to discuss current regional activities and ongoing scholarly projects. Forums are hosted using a webinar format and feature a short presentation on a CBE topic of interest. All are welcome to attend and anyone can volunteer to present their work.
We'd love to hear about your efforts to advance competency-based learning in nursing education. Please consider sharing your work with our membership at a future national meeting.
